Manual TRT vs Arc TRT: Manual is now Voy, so here's what that means for you

Manual's TRT service is now Voy. Current Manual TRT cost (from £99 a month plus a £33.95 test), what changed, and how it compares with Arc TRT.

If you've searched for Manual TRT recently, you'll have noticed something odd: the Manual website tells you Manual is now Voy. Men still ask me about Manual by name, so here's what its TRT service is today, what it costs, and how it compares with Arc.

Before you read on: I used to work at Manual

I was Medical Lead for Testosterone at Manual before I set up Arc. I don't work there now and I have no financial interest in Voy. Everything below comes from Manual's and Voy's own websites and the CQC register, not from my time there, and I've tried to be fair. Read their sites too.

Manual TRT: the short answer

Is Manual still doing TRT? Yes, as Voy. Manual's TRT site carries a banner reading "MANUAL is now Voy", and Voy publishes a page headed "MANUAL is now Voy: Your TRT journey continues with Voy". The two combined in 2025, and the company behind both is Menwell Limited. How much does Manual TRT cost? On both trt.manual.co and joinvoy.com: £33.95 for the initial at-home test, an enhanced confirmatory test from £49.95, a specialist doctor consultation at £79.95, then £99 a month for oral or injectable treatment (injectable up to £169) and topical from £129, with monitoring bloods included. Is it legit? Yes. Menwell Limited has a CQC-registered location (registered June 2025), the pharmacy is GPhC-registered and the men's health lead is Dr Jeff Foster.

Because Manual's TRT service is now Voy's, most of what you'd want to compare is in our detailed Arc TRT vs Voy post. This article covers what's specific to Manual: what changed, what Manual's pages still say, and the current numbers.

What happened to Manual's TRT service

Manual built one of the largest TRT services in the UK. Voy's own page quotes Dr Jeff Foster saying Manual has treated more men for testosterone deficiency than any other UK clinic; that's their claim, not mine, but having worked there I don't doubt the scale.

In 2025, Manual and Voy, a platform that started in weight loss, became one company under Menwell Limited, and the Manual brand is being retired in favour of Voy. Manual's TRT site still sells the £33.95 blood test, with a note that the business is rebranding and your results will carry over to Voy. Voy's page promises Manual members the same clinicians, the same treatment and a Voy account, with an app to follow. Voy has also brought Optimale onto the same platform, which I've covered in Arc TRT vs Optimale.

On the regulator's side, Menwell Limited's CQC location (also listed as "Manual Head Office") was registered on 12 June 2025 for treatment of disease, disorder or injury, with Dr Earim Chaudry as registered manager.

One detail to check before you sign up: Manual's how-it-works page shows topical plans as £129 to £159 in one place and £129 to £169 in another, and Voy's page has the same inconsistency. Confirm the figure for your medication. For what a monthly fee should cover, see how much TRT costs in the UK.

How treatment is delivered

Manual's pathway, now Voy's, is a home finger-prick test, an enhanced venous test done by a nurse, a video consultation, then medication from a GPhC-registered pharmacy. Injections are two or three times a week, topical is daily and oral is a tablet. Manual's page lists follow-up tests at 6 weeks, 3, 6 and 12 months; Voy's lists a check-in at 5 weeks and bloods at 3, 6 and 12 months, then every 6 months.

Arc follows the same BSSM pathway with a fuller first panel, and from there it's a smaller, more personal service: the same clinicians, treatment coordinators as your single point of contact, enanthate or cypionate where appropriate, and a protocol built around your bloods, symptoms and, if you want it, your DNA. Details are on our personalised TRT page.

HCG

Neither Manual's nor Voy's TRT pages mention HCG at the time of writing. Our earlier Voy comparison noted that Voy can prescribe it, so ask directly if fertility matters to you. At Arc, HCG is part of the Enhanced and Comprehensive plans.

Manual reviews vs Arc TRT reviews

On 18 October 2026, manual.co had a Trustpilot score of 4.2 from 12,002 reviews, joinvoy.com had 4.7 from 28,001, and Arc TRT had 4.8 from 45. Manual's score covers everything Manual sold, not just TRT, and Voy's covers the whole platform. Ours are few because we're small, and our patients also review us on Doctify, which verifies each reviewer is a patient. Read widely and weight the reviews from men a year or more into treatment.

Who Manual, now Voy, is probably better for

  • Men who want the lowest published entry price for TRT in the UK
  • Men who like a tech-led, app-based experience
  • Men who'd use other services on the same platform
  • Existing Manual patients who are happy and don't want to move

Who Arc TRT is probably better for

  • Men who'd rather a TRT-led clinic than a multi-category platform
  • Men who want more scheduled monitoring and doctor time in year one
  • Men who want HCG or fertility monitoring built into the plan
  • Men who want weight loss or hair loss treatment managed alongside TRT by the same team
  • Men who'd like to deal with the same small team throughout

Manual TRT FAQs

Is Manual now Voy?

Yes. Manual's TRT site says "MANUAL is now Voy" and Voy publishes a page announcing that Manual is becoming Voy. Both are run by Menwell Limited. Existing Manual members are told their clinicians and treatment continue, with a Voy account and app added.

How much does Manual TRT cost?

£33.95 for the initial test, an enhanced test from £49.95, a doctor consultation at £79.95, then from £99 a month for oral or injectable treatment or £129 for topical, with monitoring bloods included. Those are the published figures on both Manual's and Voy's sites in October 2026; check for the current price for your medication.

Can I switch from Manual to Arc TRT?

Yes. Our switch consultation is for men already on TRT elsewhere. Upload your recent bloods and current protocol, book a 60-minute video appointment with one of our doctors (a £75 deposit, credited to your first month), and if we're a good fit we take over your care without a gap in treatment.

Summing up

Manual's TRT service was a big part of my career, and it's now Voy: a credible, well-run platform with the lowest entry prices in the UK and a strong clinical lead in Dr Jeff Foster. If you want scale and a low monthly fee, you'll be in reasonable hands.

Arc is deliberately the opposite: small, TRT-led, more monitoring in the first year, HCG built in, and run by the doctors treating you. It costs more each month. Read both sites, add up the first year, and pick the one you'd be comfortable with for years. For the detailed comparison with the platform Manual has become, read Arc TRT vs Voy.
