Choosing a TRT provider is a personal decision. The right clinic depends on what you're looking for, the kind of care you want, and how much input you want from your doctor over the long term.
Voy is one of the largest names in UK men's health, particularly after merging with Manual in 2025. Arc TRT is a TRT-led men's health clinic that also offers adjunct treatments to support testosterone therapy. Both are legitimate options. They take different approaches.

TRT-led vs platform-wide: the real difference
This is the most important distinction between Arc and Voy.
Voy is a broad health platform. TRT sits alongside weight loss, menopause care, hair loss and dermatology as parallel services. Each category operates as its own offering. The scale gives them advantages: slick technology, a large clinical team, and the ability to address multiple health concerns under one roof.
Arc TRT is a TRT-led men's health clinic. Testosterone therapy is the core of what we do, and the adjunct treatments we offer (weight loss medications, hair loss plans, and DNA testing) exist specifically to support and improve TRT outcomes. They aren't bolted-on consumer products. They're designed to work with your testosterone treatment, not in parallel to it.
A few examples of why this matters in practice:
- Weight and testosterone are biologically linked. Excess body fat increases aromatase activity, which converts testosterone to oestrogen. Losing weight can improve how TRT works for you. Offering GLP-1s alongside TRT means your weight loss plan and your hormone plan are managed by the same clinical team, looking at the same blood markers, optimising for the same outcome.
- TRT can accelerate hair loss in men who are genetically predisposed. Offering a full hair loss plan alongside TRT means we can manage that risk from day one, rather than leaving you to find a separate provider once symptoms appear.
- DNA testing predicts how you'll respond to treatment. Some men metabolise testosterone faster than others. Some are more prone to oestrogen conversion. Genetic testing for treatment response lets us tailor your protocol from the start rather than adjusting after problems show up.
Neither approach is objectively better. The platform model suits men who want broad access across health categories. The TRT-led model suits men who want their adjunct care integrated with their hormonal treatment.

One factor to consider: if you'd want to combine TRT with weight loss medication, hair loss treatment, or genetic testing, look at the all-in cost of doing that across both providers, not just the headline TRT price. Bundled adjunct care is often more cost-effective than buying services separately.
The cheapest option is rarely the best, and the most expensive isn't automatically better. The right question is: what's actually included, and what would I pay extra for elsewhere?

Arc TRT offers a smaller, more personal service. You're more likely to speak to the same clinician across multiple touchpoints, and our treatment coordinators (Julia and Ursh) provide a single point of contact through your treatment journey. Where adjunct treatments are part of your plan, they're managed by the same clinical team, not handed off to a separate department.
If you value consistency of clinician and integrated care across TRT and its adjuncts, Arc is built for that. If you value scale, tech-driven experience and a broader platform of standalone services, Voy is built for that.
Adjunct treatments: how they fit in
This is where Arc and Voy take different approaches even though both offer similar treatment categories.
Weight loss
Both providers offer GLP-1 medications (Mounjaro, Wegovy) and other weight loss treatments. Voy has a substantial standalone weight loss service that predates their TRT offering. Arc offers weight loss specifically as part of a TRT-supportive care plan, recognising that body composition and testosterone are biologically connected.
If you want a dedicated weight loss programme on its own, Voy's scale in that category is hard to beat. If you want weight loss managed alongside your TRT, with the same team looking at how the two interact, Arc is built for that.
Hair loss
Voy offers hair loss services as a standalone category. Arc offers a full hair loss plan specifically as part of TRT care, because TRT can accelerate male pattern baldness in men who are genetically predisposed. Managing it preventively from day one is different from treating it as a separate problem after symptoms appear.
DNA testing
This is one of Arc's genuine differentiators. Genetic testing for treatment response isn't standard across UK TRT providers. Some men metabolise testosterone differently, are more prone to oestrogen conversion, or respond better to certain delivery methods. DNA testing allows for protocols tailored from the start rather than adjusted reactively over months of trial and error.
Monitoring and ongoing care
Both providers monitor bloods at standard intervals: typically a 5 to 6-week check after starting, then every 3 to 6 months. Both check the right markers: haematocrit, PSA, oestradiol, liver and kidney function.
Where you'll see practical differences is in how monitoring is delivered and how easily you can get hold of a doctor between scheduled reviews.
Worth asking both providers directly: How easy is it to message a doctor with a question? How quickly do you hear back? Who reviews your bloods? Is it the same clinician each time, or a different one in the team?
These details don't always show up on pricing pages but matter enormously over a long-term treatment.
HCG and fertility
Both Arc and Voy can prescribe HCG alongside TRT for men who want to preserve fertility. Worth confirming directly with whichever provider you choose, since approach can vary.
If fatherhood is part of your plans, prioritise providers that engage with this conversation proactively before starting treatment.
Reviews and reputation
Voy has a substantial public reviews profile across Trustpilot and other platforms. As one of the largest providers in the UK, they have both volume and visibility.
Arc TRT publishes patient reviews via Doctify, which verifies that reviews come from actual patients of the clinic. We're a smaller operation, so the volume is smaller, but the reviews you see are verified.
Both are legitimate review sources. Read a range, not just the top ones, and look for what people say about the experience over time.

The honest summary
Voy is a serious, credible UK TRT provider with strong clinical leadership and competitive pricing. If their platform model fits how you want to be treated, you'll likely be well looked after.
